# Framer

> Stage Article drafts in an existing Framer CMS collection.

Framer is a beta Publishing Connection. It stages editable CMS drafts; you review and publish them in Framer.

## Connect and map a collection

**1. Create a project API key**

In Framer, open **Project Settings → General → API keys** and create a project key. Keep it available for the next step.

**2. Connect the Project**

In Videntic, open the Project's **Settings → Integrations → Framer**. Enter the Framer project URL and API key, then select **Connect Framer**.

**3. Choose a CMS collection**

Select an existing collection. Map its required **Title** and **Body** fields, review any detected field suggestions, and save the mapping. The card is ready for staging once the collection and mapping are saved.

To check the workflow, review an Article in Content Studio, stage it to Framer, and inspect the new CMS draft there. Check text, images, links, and any collection fields before publishing from Framer.

If staging is unavailable, check the card for a missing collection or field mapping. If collections fail to load, confirm that the project URL and API key belong to the same Framer project; update the key in the card if necessary. The Framer card may be absent where this beta is not enabled.
