# Follow a visit to the page behind it

> Go from AI referral sessions to a page, then keep Search and AI bots as separate views.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Goal:** Follow one visit from the Traffic report to the page behind it.
>
> **Who it's for:** People reading Traffic after the sources are connected. A visit does not establish what caused it.
>
> **Video:** About 40 seconds.

## Before you start

Open Traffic in the correct Project. To interpret visits, first check that the relevant source is connected and has collected data.

</video>

> [!NOTE]
>
> The video uses an example Project with connected traffic sources.

## Steps

**1. Start with one question**

Start with one question: which pages bring people in, and what happens next?

**2. Read AI referral sessions**

AI referral sessions are visits that came from an AI tool. Open Traffic to see every source, like chatgpt.com.

**3. Open a page**

Pages shows sessions, key events and revenue for each page. That's where you see what people do after they land.

**4. Read Search**

Search shows clicks and impressions from Search Console. Look for pages people see a lot but don't click.

**5. Keep AI bots separate**

AI bots shows crawler requests on their own. Keep them apart from real visitors.

## Expected result

You have inspected one page or source. AI referral sessions, Search Console queries, and AI bot requests stay separate measurements.
