Goal: Investigate a Prompt result from the percentage to the answer that produced it.Who it’s for: People deciding whether a low result needs content, after they have read the evidence.Video: About 46 seconds.

Before you start

Open the correct Project and identify the customer questions you want to track. Reading an answer requires an analysis result for that Prompt.
The video shows how to investigate a Prompt in an example Project.

Steps

1

Start from the percentage

Use a Prompt’s score to choose where to investigate, then open the answer behind it.
2

Separate Visibility and Cited

Visibility shows how often you’re mentioned. Cited shows how often your website is used as a source. Being mentioned and being cited are not the same thing.
3

Open the Prompt

Open a prompt to see its results. Mentions shows which brands came up. Citations shows which sources the AI used.
4

Read the AI answer

Go to AI answers to read what the AI actually said, and which platform said it. Look at the sources to see what’s missing.
5

Sort Visibility from low to high

Back in Active, sort Visibility from low to high. That shows the questions where you rarely appear. Those are a good place to start.

Expected result

You have chosen a Prompt to investigate, read the AI answer behind its result, and checked whether your brand was mentioned and whether your site was cited.

Open in Videntic

Sign in first. Then open your Project and go to Prompts. Find low-visibility prompts. Sorting Active by Visibility does not change your prompts.

If you get stuck

If an answer is missing, check that the Prompt is active and has been included in a completed analysis. See the detailed guide.

Choose the questions worth tracking
